Where to Find Noctane

Location: Volcano

Hatch a Fire Egg from the Volcano region (pool includes Blazelord, Flarecub, and Noctane) or catch it around the Volcano. A Void variant exists in later patch content.

Evolution

Community evolution guides list Noctane as the base for the Lunavox recipe (Vitalium Stone + Refined Water Gem + 1 Refined Ground Gem + 1 Refined Fire Gem, weighted toward Water).

Materials: Vitalium Stone (from the TideVex boss in Tideland) plus Refined Gems for the Lunavox path.

Is Noctane Worth Using?

Yes — great early-to-mid game fire value, and its Secret evolution path keeps it relevant. Note the evolved form had taunt bugs as of early 2026; check current patch notes before investing heavy materials.

Team synergy: A cheap DPS slot while you farm bosses; its evolution materials come from TideVex, so farm Tideland in parallel.

Alternatives: Flareblaze (A-tier fire), Starshade (balanced starter target)

Noctane FAQ

Hatch Fire Eggs in the Volcano region — the pool includes Blazelord, Flarecub, and Noctane — or catch it around the Volcano.

A Void variant tied to later patch content (Void/Spectre Shallows line). It has a stronger dungeon-damage profile than the base form.

Community recipes point to the Lunavox path: Vitalium Stone + Refined Water Gem + 1 Refined Ground Gem + 1 Refined Fire Gem, adding extra Water Gems to weight the roll. Check the taunt bug status before investing.
